Das Schwarze Schwein...

...or The Black Pig!

Hear Ye, Hear Ye!

Today, Merry Mayhem News is proud to announce something never seen before in this old world port!
A vessel who's awesomeness would make the legendary Flying Dutchman pale in comparison, the home and dugout of the fierce Pugwash Pirates team, sole creation of our friend Neil, a Blood Bowl coach and dugout pirate himself.
Ladies and gentlemen, let me present you first handed images of this year Dungeon Bowl "Best Dugout" award winner, Das Schwarze Schwein !

Overview of the entire ship!

The crow's nest with the scatter template on the boards!

The ship's place for cut-throats yet in reserve!

Here be "Dead and Injured" sea dogs.

Now that's a very graphic warning regarding Go-For-It abusers!

 Gun ports and turn counters!

There you have a jolly good cabin for the Ref to Rest...

 ...In Peace!

The score board!

And out the window goes the N.I. skilless player...

Here sharky, sharky, sharky!
Can let prime beef waste can we? Arrrr...

That's one fantastic piece of work Neil!

Congrats for a well deserved "Best Dugout" award, and thank you for letting us show it off in the blog!

How about another... Star Player?

And now for something completely new... an Orc Star Player!

Mr. Ugroth Bolgrot with his good friend 'Pain'!
"-Up there, zee? ZMIIILE !!! Some'unz about to be proper chopped in half'z and betta'z not me!"

"

Yesss, you're right, it is a conversion!
Nothing too fancy, just a 3rd Ed. plastic Orc Lineman from the box, with a couple of plasticard and green stuff mods: Iron Jaw - probably something inspired in 40k universe, and the mandatory chainsaw -fondly nicked 'Pain'.

For those still in doubt (or having trouble reading his name on the base), he'll be filling the role of the Orc Star Ugroth Bolgrot, the orc chainsaw wielding lunatic, that will probably do more psychophysical damage to the opponent coach then to the armour of his players!

Since this season I'm having a go with a Chaos Pact team in my league who knows if it will come handy?
Either that or I really wanted to try checkers in orc armour!

:)
Have fun!

The A to Z of Blood Bowl

You may have heard of the April A to Z challenge, in which participants make a blog post each day on a topic starting with letters in sequence and thereby completing the alphabet during the month.

This year the Man Cave is ponying up, themeing every post around Blood Bowl.
I wont spam up MMN with them all, but if you care to see them, come take a look here:
